Why everyone on Medium writes about writing tips and tricks? (let’s keep it concise, and short)
let's find out the secret behind it.
Well, I'm not sure what I'm exactly going to write about but my only purpose in writing this article is to give some idea to the people who are confused and stuck with writing “LIKE ME”.
I’M GOING TO KEEP IT SIMPLE, CONCISE, AND SHORT
Before writing this article, I read a lot of other articles about writing tips, techniques, and many more. Reading articles will only give you guidance but then you have to find out what works best for you, because following someone else path can lead you to the wrong place. While readings I stumbled upon an article that made me write this, which says:
“Don’t let social media or internet advice stop you from following your true path”
In simple words, it describes that there is so much information on the internet/social media about how to start writing and what are the techniques that will help you to become a better writer, but what you have to do is to read it, understand it, observe it, and then try to follow your own way of writing.
look am not saying that you should not read articles etc but what I meant by this is, that stop looking for an easy way to become a perfect writer. we all know that a “PERFECT WRITER” would also have been started by being zero. No one becomes a perfect writer overnight, it is a long journey ahead of you and the only thing that will help you is to be consistent and start practicing.
After reading so many things about writing, I came to the conclusion and decided that from now onwards I will not look for easy ways, read articles and listen to what other people say because all of these things are going to make me confused about which path should I lead.
First of all, you have to accept the fact that it's okay if I'm not a good writer and I don't know how to write better like other people, it's completely fine because as I mentioned above that everyone starts being by zero.
Everything else about writing is a learning process. Don’t chase perfectionism from the beginning. “Go do interesting things.” Have something to say that might be of value to others. That is the best writing advice I have gotten. if you are a beginner who has just started writing, don’t give much thought to your words, writing style, and grammar. Keep it simple. and the key points that are gonna help you ahead are;
ACCEPTANCE, PATIENCE, CONSISTENCY, AND PRACTICE
* Trust Your Creative Instincts and Stop Looking For Rules:
Believe in yourself and start writing the way you want to write because everybody has some creative instincts and that Is what gonna be your identity that will make you stand out among the prominent writers. As long as I know there are no tips and tricks for writing.
Writing is an art, and everyone play with the words in their own way and that’s what makes them different from others, if all started writing the same way then what will be the difference between them.
People on the medium are all writing about this thing in order to get more followers. Trust me the only thing that is true and is gonna help you 100% is PRACTICE because writing is all about practice, the more you write the more you will be better at it, so stop looking for rules, tips, etc and start writing.
But If you are writing for the sake of earning money then it is not gonna help you because you won’t be able to continue it for a long time since you are not interested in it.

Keep your focus off on the wrong things.
I always compared, evaluated, and analyzed myself with the most experienced writers and considered them to be my competition. I set out to surpass their readers, views, and applause at first. I consistently demonstrated for others rather than myself.
Can you imagine participating in an imaginary competition with experienced writers who have years of knowledge and experience?
yes it's true I did the same, and I believe many of you would have done the same and yet doing the same thing, but trust me this is all ridiculous and before you realize it let me tell you that all of these things are not going to work instead of wasting your time and energy on the wrong things use it in the right place and that is to set a goal for yourself and start working for it consistently.
Stop comparing yourself with others
The most important lesson I have learned while learning writing is that you are your greatest enemy because Success comparison is a self-sabotaging process, I always thought that my work is not good enough as compared to others, because I used to compare myself with experienced writers and that was one of the reasons that I used to stop writing I let myself believe that I wasn't a good writer. I used to think that only those people are successful who have a big audience and are professional writers.
Instead of improving my writing skills, I get into a competition with experienced writers and that's when I went wrong.
After experiencing all of these failures and mistakes I learned one thing and that competition should not be with others, but only with yourself,
There are two versions of yourself, one that wants you to achieve great things and another that wants to jeopardize all of your hard work.
I'm going to give you a piece of advice, but the rest depends upon you.
No matter what happens, just don't stop writing because giving up is not the solution to anything, great things come to those who work hard and be patient.
LAST BUT NOT LEAST;
Create content that best represents who you are and what you want to convey to your audience through your words. Being authentic and sharing your experience with the readers makes you who you are and also the best strategy is to be kind to yourself to stumble upon success.
